Steve Svajian is the Co-Founder and CEO of Anova Culinary.
He oversees the strategic direction and all business for the San Francisco-based company, including Manufacturing, Research and Development, Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Corporate Relations. Through Steve’s leadership and vision of helping people cook restaurant-quality meals in the comfort of their own homes, Anova has grown to become the world’s leading provider of smart kitchen appliances and in 2017 Anova was acquired by Electrolux.
A talented technology entrepreneur and marketing executive, Steve has spent nearly 20 years launching and establishing companies from creation through acquisition.
Steve began his career in product roles in various technology companies (1999 - 2005). In 2006, he founded AudioCaseFiles, a digital media company for law schools. It was successfully acquired in 2008 and is now a LexisNexis offering.
In 2010, he founded Ybuy Inc., which was acquired in 2012 by Atlanticus Holdings (NASDAQ: ATLC). Prior to Anova, he started Get Fresh, a digital marketing consulting company that helped early-stage startups. In 2013, he co-founded Anova Culinary.
Steve’s ability to define values that build mission-driven organizations, assess product-market fit, and scale end-user demand have allowed him to consistently help his teams and products evolve.
A native of Boston, Steve holds a bachelor's degree from Tufts University and a Juris Doctorate from the College of William and Mary Marshall-Wythe Law School.
