If you’re creating tech to change the world of food, cooking or the pro/consumer kitchen, we want to hear from you. The SKS Startup Showcase is a well-established foodtech startup competition that gives early stage companies the opportunity to pitch and demo their innovation to a leading executives, influencers, journalists, analysts and funders interested in the space. Applications are open through August 15, 2019 and judges will select between 10 and 20 finalists to bring their product to SKS in October and present + demo their idea with a pitch on stage and a showcase table at our FoodTech Innovation reception on October 7, 2019, following the first day of SKS. Winners will be presented with a trophy on stage and receive an annual membership to WeWork Food Labs
*Applications are open to early stage startup companies only (pre-A round), with a prototype or working product. You are encouraged to submit supportive documentation with your application, including a pitch deck, video of the demo and other collateral.

The FF Pitchfest participants will be included in the Future Food Pavilion, a prominent section of the SKS exhibitor area; this allows you to network, share samples and discuss your brand and plans to transform food as we know it. There will also be a startup stage where each finalists will present their future food product and one winner will be announced on stage and awarded a weeklong trip to Parma, Italy to visit the Barilla Innovation Lab. Applications are open until August 15, 2019.
*Applications are only open to early stage food companies with a ready to eat or drink product. Finalists must be able to attend SKS October 7-8 and bring samples to share on both days.
