Michael Wolf is the founder and chief analyst of NextMarket Insights, host of the Smart Home Show podcast and loves both food and technology. He decided to put this conference together because he is fascinated by how technology will change the way we cook, eat and live. Mike has been advising companies large and small in the connected home, consumer technology and Internet of Things market verticals for over 15 years, and today he helps clients have used his advisory services to assist with product development, go-to-market strategy, marketing and advertising, and mergers and acquisition.

Dr. Bill Mitchell is CEO of PicoBrew. Bill is a former Microsoft Corp Vice President is an experienced technology executive with several decades of innovation leadership under his belt. Bill founded and led many of Microsoft's early efforts in consumer electronics including Windows CE PDAs, smartphones, automotive and wearable computing, and helped pioneer Intel's early work in FLASH memory. Bill's a passionate father, home-brewer, pilot, dual-sport motorcyclist and sports photographer. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from ASU.

Jon Jenkins


As the CEO of Meld, JJ, a passionate home cook, has a history of growing and managing teams to deliver high quality consumer products. Prior to Meld, JJ was head of engineering at Pinterest where he played an instrumental role in growing the engineering team from a few dozen engineers to well over a hundred. Before Pinterest, JJ spent nine years at Amazon where he led a variety of teams including one of the teams for the first Kindle Fire tablet.

Nikhil Bhogal

Nikhil is the co-founder and CTO at June, where he oversees the engineering and design teams behind the product. He was previously the lead iOS developer for Path. Before that Nikhil was an engineer at Apple, where he worked on the first iPhone through iPhone 5, as well as the first iPad through iPad 3. He's an inventor on many of Apple's camera technology patents, including tap to focus, panorama processing, zero shutter lag and lockscreen camera. Nikhil started his career as an engineer at Motorola, focusing on embedded software development for the Razr family of phones. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and little one on the way. In his spare time, Nikhil enjoys cooking, photography, making espresso and building stereos.

Daniel Rausch is the Director of Product Management for Dash Replenishment Service and the Dash Button programs. Dash Replenishment Service (DRS) enables connected devices to order physical goods from Amazon when supplies are running low—like a coffee maker that orders more coffee beans.
